The following is the Transaxt LLC Terms of Service and Privacy Policy Statement. You must check the box indicating your agreement with these Terms and Acknowledging Receipt of the foregoing Privacy Policy, if you intend to proceed with use of the Software as a Service application provided by Transaxt, LLC, commonly known as Transaxt.
Privacy Policy
Transaxt is very sensitive to privacy issues on the Internet. We believe it is important that you understand how we treat the information you may provide to us. Unless specifically stated otherwise, the information you provide is never shared with anyone other than Transaxt employees or authorized contractors.
This privacy statement applies to information collected by web addresses in the transaxt.com domain and other domains owned and operated by Transaxt LLC, hereinafter referred to collectively as Transaxt.
Secure Data
The Transaxt website uses SSL v3 and TLS v1 encryption on all web pages where personal information is submitted. This protects the confidentiality of your personal and credit card information as it is transmitted over the Internet. Transaxt does not store credit card numbers on our servers. Credit card numbers are submitted to a credit card authorization service. This service provides Transaxt with credit card validation information only. We do not have access to your personal financial data.
Fees and Merchant Accounts
When creating an account with Transaxt you hereby authorize Transaxt to act on your behalf utilizing Transaxt's Merchant Account for all donation payments. Any changes to this must be in writing and signed by both Transaxt and you, whether a committee, person, or other entity. Transaxt charges a flat percentage of 4.5% on each transaction processed through our platform. Customers who work with our approved network of referral agents and consultants may be charged a rate different than 4.5%, which will be determined based on a written agreement with Customer.
Reimbursement
You herby authorize transact to hold all funds associated with your account to be remitted to you on monthly basis via either ACH Wire or check to the account or address you provide upon the creation of your Transaxt account. Contact us at support@transaxt.com for more information regarding having your funds remitted on a more regular basis.
Charge Backs
Transaxt will handle and process all chargeback requests from transactions associated with your account on your behalf. Transaxt will attempt to reinstate each chargeback request on your behalf however, certain chargeback requests may stand. In the event a chargeback stands Transaxt will notify you of the chargeback for your records. Transaxt may hold a small percentage of your donations in an escro account to fund any chargebacks associated with monies that have already been remitted to you in the normal course of remittance. These funds will be returned to you, the costumer, in full less any processed chargeback amounts no more than 90 days after the close of your account with Transaxt.
Consultants and/or Referring Partners
Transaxt works with a network of approved consultants and/or referring partners in order to provide our costumers with the highest level of service possible. We provide a unique way for these consultants and/or referring partners to bill for their services directly through our system. These consultants and/or referring partners may charge a fee above the base rate associated with your Transaxt account. Transaxt is not responsible for any discrepancies and/or fees associated with your separate agreements with these approved consultants and/or referring partners.
How We Gather Information
To save you time and make our web services even easier to use, you may create a Transaxt account using your personal information. The Transaxt system saves your information and references it to your email address and password. If you purchase a product or service from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.
Log Files
As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include IP addresses, browser type, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information to analyze trends, to administer the site, and to track how visitors interact with the site.

Transaxt safeguards the security of the data you send us with physical, electronic, and managerial procedures. Likewise, we urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. These precautions include changing your password often, using a combination of letters, numbers and symbols, and using a secure browser.

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters and promotional communications from Transaxt, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communication.

The Transaxt web site contains links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by Transaxt. Please be aware that Transaxt is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites.
